Alla auktioner / Samtida Konst / Daluxe Art - 1999 • XXL Pop Art Rhino – 70 cm
XXL Pop Art Rhino – 70 cm A powerful and striking artwork in which the rugged appearance of a rhinoceros is combined with colorful Pop Art & Street Art influences. The sculpture has a deep, dark base with intense shades of blue, purple and green. Bright neon accents, paint splatters and drips give it a raw street-art look. On both sides the work features extensive graphic compositions including pop-art figures, dice, money symbols and other urban details. The gold-colored and blue graphics contrast strongly with the dark high-gloss finish. The head is also a real eye-catcher: lime green and yellow horns are combined with red, blue and black drip details. Because of the different colors and details, the artwork looks different from every angle. With a size of no less than 70 cm, this XXL Rhino is made to grab attention immediately and forms an impressive statement piece for a modern living room, office, showroom or art collection. “Hand-finished polyester sculpture by Daluxe Art, created on a blank commercially manufactured base.”
