A ceramic vase in very good condition with Art Deco motifs, designed by designer Koen Mertens for the ceramic factory De Zwing in Noordwijk. Koen Mertens started this factory in 1927 after he had previously worked at the better-known factory Potterie Kennemerland Velsen. Unfortunately, this factory lasted only 4 years and items from this factory are highly sought after. This vase is 12 cm tall and is marked on the bottom with the model number De Zwing Noordwijk. This marking has unfortunately faded, but is still partly legible.
