Decanter - Mid-Century Modern Amber Glass "Genie Bottle"...

Mid-Century Modern Amber Glass "Genie Bottle" Decanter with Stopper - Empoli, Italy, 1960s/1970s An iconic and highly collectible vintage art glass decanter, widely known as a "Genie Bottle," crafted in the famous glass-making region of Empoli, Italy, during the 1960s–1970s. This striking piece features an elegant, tapered conical silhouette made of vibrant amber-colored glass. The body showcases a distinct, beautifully tactile molded "crinkle" or "wave" texture that catches and refracts the light exceptionally well. It is complete with its original, impressive flame-shaped tall stopper. A standout feature for collectors: the decanter still retains its original scalloped foil export label on the neck, clearly reading "MADE IN ITALY." Finding these delicate paper/foil stickers intact is increasingly rare, as most were washed away over decades of use, significantly enhancing the authenticity and value of this specific piece. A quintessential example of Italian Mid-Century Modern design, perfect as a standalone sculptural accent, a centerpiece, or as a highlight in a vintage art glass collection.
