Decorative ornament - Mosaic - France - Jewelry Display

Original gilded jewelry display stand made in glazed mosaic during the second half of the 20th century, a piece conceived for the exhibition of necklaces and accessories that combines functionality and ornamental value. Its design reproduces in a stylized way the contour of an exhibitor bust, allowing jewelry pieces to be presented with great visual appeal even when not in use. The surface is completely covered by a meticulous mosaic made up of small glazed tesserae in warm amber, honey, caramel and dark brown tones, creating a vibrant and luminous effect. The irregular arrangement of the fragments generates an interesting play of reflections that changes according to the incidence of light, adding depth and chromatic richness to the set. The glossy finish of the glazing reinforces this sensation, turning the piece into a true decorative focal point. The geometric lines and the stylization of the form evoke decorative influences from artisanal movements and interior design of the second half of the 20th century, where textured materials and handmade finishes gained prominence. The dark frame that bounds the tesserae provides contrast and emphasizes the careful artisanal work of assembly. In addition to its original function as a jewelry display for necklaces, chains or pendants, it can be used as an independent decorative element on dressing tables, storefronts, showcases or commercial spaces, where it stands out for its singular sculptural presence and the quality of its finishes. It is in good condition, showing slight signs of use consistent with its age. A decorative piece of great personality that combines craftsmanship, design and functionality, ideal for collectors of vintage decorative objects or for those seeking an elegant and original way to display their jewelry. Certified shipping and good packaging.
