Delicate Art Deco-Style Earrings with Diamonds from Our Workshop

Two sparkling points of light, set in gleaming white gold—these earrings from our workshop do not impress with their size or weight; quite the opposite. They are delicate, exquisitely detailed, and suitable for everyday wear—yet they are anything but ordinary. We designed these earrings inspired by 1920s models. Art Deco jewellery embraced the colour white, which is also the central theme of these earrings. They are divided into two parts: an upper section and a movable drop that swings in and out. Delicate shadow lines give the surface its texture, while milgrains and engraved diamond patterns define the front. A brilliant-cut diamond sparkles at the center of each earring. The leverback clasp is made of yellow gold, while the earrings themselves are crafted from white gold. Dangling earrings were, alongside large rings that covered an entire finger joint and the dress clip, arguably the most typical form of Art Deco jewellery. They came back into fashion around 1920, following many years of dominance by small stud earrings, dormeuses, or even bare earlobes. These dangling earrings were intended, not least, to accentuate the new bob hairstyles—the hallmark of a new, emancipated type of woman. As such, these earrings are quintessential examples of the golden 1920s, a time of upheaval and innovation. In their production, we have relied on sustainable materials: the high-karat gold was recovered from older pieces of jewellery, as were the diamonds.
