Delicate Platinum Ring with a Pink Sapphire & Diamonds, from Our Workshop

Some time ago, we were fortunate enough to acquire a large collection of tourmalines and beryls that had been lying dormant in a Stockholm gem dealer’s warehouse since the 1950s. Our goldsmiths designed a ring to showcase each of these gemstones, accompanied by six diamonds. Crafted from sustainable materials and featuring diamonds that also carry their own history—thus breathing new life into these historic gemstones. When we then discovered a small collection of unusual sapphires in the same size, we couldn’t resist. Among them were various shades of blue and pink that immediately captivated us. Our goldsmiths reimagined their ring—and that’s how the ring you see here came to be. The center of this ring is occupied by a sapphire in an intense pink hue. It is a natural stone with delicate, natural inclusions. It is flanked by six sparkling diamonds—three on the right and three on the left—which add white highlights to the sapphire’s pastel glow. The stones are set in platinum. As with all rings in this series, the platinum and diamonds are sustainably sourced. They come from pieces of jewellery that, unfortunately, were beyond repair. But here, in a new form, they too can begin a new life. This is the first time the sapphire has been incorporated into a piece of jewellery. We love this ring because it’s simple and lets the beautiful gemstone take center stage.
