Delicate Ring with Untreated Burma Ruby & Diamonds in White Gold &

A fiery ruby adorns the center of this ring. Icy, sparkling old-cut diamonds frame it to form a precious flower. Platinum and high-carat white gold hold each of the precious gemstones securely in place. The ring from the 1930s is particularly luxurious. Around half a carat of diamonds in very good color (fine white - white, G-H) show perfect brilliance with very good clarity (VSI). The ruby in the center of the ring is also of high quality: it comes from what is now Myanmar, historically Burma, which has always been considered one of the best regions for rubies. These rubies are found around the town of Mogok and are characterized by an intense red color, which is known as "pigeon's blood". The stone is neither treated nor heated - its wonderful color and purity are the result of the forces of nature alone. To ensure that our ruby is indeed an untreated stone from Burma, we commissioned an expert opinion to confirm both the quality of the gemstone and its origin. We discovered the ring here in Berlin. According to its hallmark, it was made in Germany.
