Delicate Rose Gold Ring with a 0.70 Ct Vintage Brilliant, from our Workshop

As antique jewelry dealers, our love for antique objects leads us to occasionally purchase unmounted gemstones as well. After all, every historic diamond is a one-of-a-kind piece with its own unique character. However, the search for beautiful settings for our diamonds proved more difficult than we had anticipated. Modern mass-produced settings, such as those available in stores, are often soulless, machine-made products lacking any sense of form and proportion. Yet beautiful, hand-forged, antique settings rarely come to us without matching diamonds. So we commissioned our goldsmith to forge a ring setting based on our design, which we then had cast using traditional techniques. We had this ring crafted from 14-karat rose gold using historical gold. The diamond we had set in the ring is a vintage brilliant-cut diamond. It weighs 0.70 ct and sparkles with very good brilliance. It is graded as rare white (G), SI, meaning that under a loupe it shows very small inclusions, which attest to its natural origin. Two smaller diamonds in delicate settings with milgrains adorn the ring shoulders and lend the piece a light elegance that beautifully showcases the large brilliant-cut diamond. At the same time, the piece of jewellery sparkles with every ray of light that hits its finely crafted surfaces. Thanks to its high-quality, durable materials and its flat design, the ring is suitable for everyday wear.
