Remarkably detailed boasting a slight luster and a light grey cabinet toning. Struck in connection with the coronation of the king on 29 August, possibly as a largesse money. Of the 6 denominations minted, the 8 Skilling is the rarest, and most likely this is the only example of the type with the clover mint mark in private ownership. Estimate: €3,000 - €4,000. Provenance: From the L.E. Bruun Collection. Ex: Countship of Brahesminde Collection (Private Sale - 1922). To view supplemental information and all items from the L.E. Bruun Collection, click here.
