Dimoria Pastel Girls - Figurine - gesigneerd-EMIR O ge-inspireerd door Banksy

Signed by EMIR O – Seated girl with balloons in pastel colors – Dimoria Pastel Girls – Resin sculpture – 22 cm Special figurative sculpture by the Mexican-American artist and designer EMIR O, from the Dimoria Pastel Girls collection. The depiction shows a young girl sitting quietly with legs crossed. With closed eyes, she holds two balloons. Her serene facial expression and relaxed posture give the sculpture a dreamy and hushed character. The pink of her clothing and the lilac hair form a beautiful contrast with the pale finish of her skin and the colored balloons. The sculpture is made from high-quality resin and finished with a carefully applied paint layer, giving it the classical look of a work of art. The sculpture is beautifully finished on all sides. The fine details in the face, hair, hands, clothing, shoes and balloon strings emphasize the high-quality decorative finish. EMIR O has created an extensive series with different depictions of girls, balloons, flowers and hearts. Each sculpture has its own pose and aura, but at the same time forms a recognizable part of the Dimoria Pastel Girls collection. These pieces are highly collectible and a treat for a collector. Inspiration EMIR O draws inspiration from modern artists such as Banksy and Jeff Koons. The balloons and the combination of playfulness and symbolism align with contemporary art. At the same time, influences from earlier artists such as Edgar Degas and Marc Chagall are recognizable in the calm pose and graceful design. Symbolism The work can be read as a symbol of: * youth and innocence; * dreams, hope and freedom; * happiness and festivity; * letting go and longing; * inner calm and contemplation; * the fragility and transience of beautiful moments. The balloons symbolize freedom and lightness, but can also refer to dreams and memories that can drift away at any moment. The closed eyes give the girl a calm, almost meditative look.
