Born in Crete and later active in Italy and Spain, he united Byzantine traditions with influences from the Venetian Renaissance and created works of great spiritual expressiveness. The painting "Laocoon", one of his few mythological motifs, was created around 1610–1614 and shows the Trojan priest and his sons in combat with snakes in an emotionally charged, dynamic composition. His art influenced figures far beyond his time and inspired modern artists such as Picasso or the Expressionists. - Information on shipping: We roll prints onto rigid cardboard tubes, wrap them with corrugated cardboard, and ship them in sturdy boxes with a tracking number. - About us: We have been active in the art trade for over 20 years and have extensive experience in the professional handling and shipment of artworks. - No shipping to the Canary Islands, Taiwan possible is not available
