Circa 1960s, low scissor-framed sling chair featuring black leather fastened with rows of studs under carved wood covers, appears unmarked. 27 x 23.5 x 28 in. While born in America, Shoemaker's relocation to Mexico in the late 1940s transformed him into one of the country's most celebrated designers.
