Donald Duck 36B - 1 advertising insert - Limited edition - 1966

Offered is the Donald Duck promotional insert no. 36B from 1966, published by De Geïllustreerde Pers N.V. This special promotional issue was used to promote Donald Duck Weekly. The distinctive red cover features Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Huey, Dewey and Louie, with the text ‘Join our big prize competition’. The 32 pages contain a varied selection of strips and illustrations, including Donald Duck, The Smurfs, The Big Bad Wolf, Tom Poes and Joris the Lion. What is special about this copy is that the original prize question is still present, including the unused answer/entry card. It has not been filled in or cut out. The booklet is complete and still firmly bound. The cover shows wear and aging on the edges and corners. The interior has, given its age, been neatly preserved. A special promotional insert from 1966 and an interesting addition for collectors of old Donald Duck issues and Dutch comic publications.
