The glasses have the classic bulbous shape of a Cognac glass and are adorned with an elaborate, deeply cut crystal facet cut. The various facets catch the light and give the brilliance characteristic of fine crystal glass. The broad gold rim, which provides a beautiful contrast to the clear crystal, looks particularly elegant. The combination of heavy-looking crystal, decorative cut, and gold decoration gives the set a distinctly festive and representative aura. About Driburg Kristall Driburg Kristall is associated with the traditional glass and crystal production around Bad Driburg in North Rhine-Westphalia. The region has a long history of glassmaking. Especially in the 20th century, decorative crystal glasses with elaborate cuts and finishes, including gold decorations, were created there. Today, glasses from Driburg Kristall are mainly encountered on the vintage and collector market. Entire larger sets are beautiful testaments to the classic German table and bar culture of that era. Condition The 10 glasses are in a very good, age-appropriate condition. One glass has the gold rim slightly darkened. This has been noted in the condition description and is documented in the photos accordingly. No damage, as far as visible in the pictures. Delivery scope 10 Cognac glasses from Driburg Kristall A decorative and at the same time highly usable set for lovers of classic crystal glass, for the home bar or a festively laid table. Careful and shatterproof shipping.
