“Open Doors” is a 100×70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. The work depicts a Mediterranean interior that opens directly to the sea. Two large green doors frame the landscape and guide the eye from the warmth of the room to the deep blue of the water and the horizon. Plants and flowers accompany this journey, creating a natural transition between domestic space and the exterior. The composition stands out for a particularly luminous palette, built from yellows, oranges, and reds that contrast with deep greens and various shades of blue. The light seems to enter from the balcony and flood the floor, reinforcing the sense of openness, summer, and warmth.
