Early XXth Century bed linen with D.G. initials - Textile - 2.8 m - 2 m

Early XXth Century bed linen with D.G. initials - Textile - 2.8 m - 2 m This exquisite bed linen, adorned with the initials “D.G.,” whispers a story of union and devotion. Once, it would have rested among the cherished pieces of a young bride’s trousseau—chosen not only for its beauty, but for the life it was meant to witness. Each letter rises gently from the linen in fine relief, as if shaped by loving hands determined to leave a mark that time could not erase. Nestled beside them, delicate floral motifs bloom softly—symbols of a love promised to endure, petal by petal, through the quiet passing of years. Along the edges, the airy thread work open like lace windows, light and graceful. Though fragile, they speak of tenderness—the kind that must be handled with care, just like the bond they frame. This is more than linen. It is a keepsake of vows once spoken, of love carefully stitched into fabric, and of two lives gently woven together
