Beautiful decorative sculpture based on the famous work “La Petite Danseuse de Quatorze Ans” by Edgar Degas. The statue shows a young ballerina in a graceful, subdued pose. The sculpture has a warm bronze appearance, a gold-colored structured bodice and a real pink tulle skirt. It is this combination of hard sculptural forms and soft fabric that gives the piece a special and elegant look. The details are beautifully worked out: the face, the hair, the bodice with buttons, the bow at the back and the classical pose of the ballerina contribute to a refined whole.
