Elegant Diamond Pendant Brooch in White Gold, c. 1975

This piece of jewellery evokes a wintery colour palette. Sparkling diamonds are set in white gold. The design is shaped like a bouquet of gleaming white blossoms that appear to be blooming in the snow. Each petal is set with several diamonds, and larger brilliant-cut diamonds adorn the centers of the blossoms. The individual elements are artfully layered one above the other, with the petals curved naturally and each one unique. The interplay of colours and the meticulous attention to detail in this piece were very good from the outset. Another lovely, hidden detail is that the piece can be worn both as a brooch and as a pendant. In fact, the back features not only a pin but also several eyelets, allowing the floral arrangement to be worn as a pendant either upright or sideways. We discovered this very good-conditioned piece of jewellery in Stuttgart. It features approximately 1.70 ct of very high-quality diamonds set in white gold.
