Elegant Vintage Bracelet With Sapphires & Diamonds in White Gold, ca. 1975

Jewellery fashion is subject to constant change. After the organic shapes of the fifties, a new desire for geometry returned in the age of the race to the moon, and yellow gold and combinations of colourful coloured stones were also increasingly replaced by white gold, diamonds and cool, midnight blue sapphires. An exemplary jewel of those years is also the present bracelet, which combines the modernity of its design with the highest quality materials. Six natural sapphires of 3.65 ct together are at the center of the design. They are dark blue stones with very good clarity. Held in restrained white gold settings, they are accented by a total of sixty small brilliant cut diamonds, which further enhance the colour of the sapphires. A simple bracelet, composed of rectangular links, joins the gem-set showpiece. Due to the connections of its links, it is flexible and ideally hugs the wrist. Also made of white gold, it blends in with the cool and luxurious colour scheme of blue and white that defines the piece of jewellery. The bracelet comes with an independent gemmological appraisal confirming the quality of the materials used.
