Emilie Pannier - Et Dieu créa la femme

Oil on canvas on a wooden stretcher. Painted edges. Shipped via Colissimo with certificate of authenticity. And God Created Woman "She walked with her face lit by an ethereal, almost blessed light. Before what the street offers in serendipity. The graffiti, like poetry, leaves us astonished by this prophecy." Emilie Pannier, also known as Mia, has been a painter for more than 20 years. Her painting is above all figurative; it follows in the lineage of Genre Scenes, exploring themes related to urban life, the street, its anonymity, and daily life. Mia works in series, thus building a repertoire of images that bear witness to our time, in search of a sublimation of the anecdotal and of the moment. It is through careful color work and lighting that the painterly comes into play. The place of Women is an essential subject in her painting; they are free, independent, and move through a universal space.
