Emilio Lari - Clint Eastwood - Kelly's Heros

Photo taken on the set of the war film Kelly's Heroes (1970), starring Clint Eastwood and directed by Brian G. Hutton. Photo taken with Nikon. It is interesting the dichotomy between the tenderness awakened by the puppy and the harshness of war represented by the helmet that Clint Eastwood holds in his hand and that contains the puppy. The photo is digitally printed on Hahnemuhle matte cotton rag photo paper ultra smooth 305gsm. 4 cm passe-partout. Archival inks guaranteed 150 years. Photograph with the artist's original stamp and signature. The photos are presented at auction in low resolution to avoid unauthorized reproductions; the photos sent to buyers will, however, be reproduced from the originals in high resolution for optimal printing. Emilio Lari was born in Rome in 1939, a still photographer from 1960 to present. In 1960 his passion for photography led him to join the staff of Luigi Pratulon's Press Office (then the still photographer for Federico Fellini's film "La Dolce Vita"). Subsequently he was sent to London to photograph the new group, the Beatles, at the beginning of their success. A master of photographic light, Emilio has worked on over 140 films. "Help" Richard Leister "Barbarella" Roger Vadim "Candy" Christian Marquand "The Godfather" Francis Ford Coppola "Raging Bull" Martin Scorsese "Once Upon a Time in America" Sergio Leone "Romeo and Juliet" Franco Zeffirelli "Ladyhawke" Richard Donner ...and many other films. Now he lives in the Roman countryside near beautiful waterfalls, retracing through his indelible memories the incredible stories of the world cinema industry of those days.
