Rectangular with chamfered corners and molded rim. In well is Indo-Chinoiserie scene with richly garbed nawab fanning himself in sedan chair carried by barelegged indigenes. Fantasy exoticism in early 18th-century style. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (Mappin & Webb) and assay stamp (London). Very good condition with nice toning. Dimensions: H 3/4 x W 13 1/8 x D 9 1/4 in. Weight: 30.7 troy ounces. #CD229
