eros raffael - Eros Raffael - Sculpture, FU004 - 41 cm - Murano glass

Created in 2003 by the renowned glass master Eros Raffael, this monumental work represents a perfect fusion between the glorious Murano tradition and contemporary design. The object is born as a modern reinterpretation of the classic Venetian glass: the historical shapes of the lagoon are decontextualized and sublimated through a substantial increase in size, transforming the everyday object into a unique, sculptural work of art with a strong visual impact. The piece belongs to a fundamental creative period for Maestro Raffael, namely the year 2003, during which his artistic research focused exclusively on hand-blown glass, exploring its limits of volume, transparency and formal lightness.
