eros raffael - Eros Raffael - Sculpture, FU012 - 49 cm - Murano glass - 2003

This magnificent work of art represents an elegant expression of Murano glassmaking excellence. Entirely crafted in authentic Murano glass, this sculptural vase bears the stylistic signature and the mastery of the renowned Maestro Eros Raffael. The piece dates from a period of extraordinary collectible value: the era in which Maestro Raffael created his masterpieces by exclusively shaping blown glass. The uniqueness of the work lies in the complex and scenographic “a piera” technique, which creates a dense organic lattice with a peacock eye pattern or hypnotic cells, where the subtle details in blue, white and amber emerge vividly from a bright green background. Design and Sculptural Details The sculpture develops along a slender, slightly flared upward line, culminating in a large, oblique and asymmetrical upper opening with a strong visual impact. The vase rests on a refined and elegant black circular base, which, in addition to ensuring maximum stability, provides a touch of modern and elegant contrast to the entire structure. The transparency and brilliance of blown glass capture the light, reflecting suggestive tonal nuances in the surrounding environment.
