Title: Nude in Rose ㅤ School: European School (20th century) ㅤ Style: Contemporary figurative painting with influence from Post-Impressionism ㅤ Technique: Oil on cardboard ㅤ Condition: Good overall state of preservation, with signs of age and use appropriate to the nature of the work. ㅤ Circle and artistic influence: The work is inscribed within the European figurative tradition of the 20th century, with influences from Post-Impressionism and intimate painting. The free handling of the brushstroke, the simplification of volumes, and the predominance of pink, lilac, and ochre tones refer to a modern conception of the nude, in which pictorial expression takes precedence over meticulous academic representation. ㅤ The composition portrays a young woman partially nude, seated and captured in an intimate pose while she holds or adjusts a white garment over her body. The figure occupies practically the entire pictorial space, standing out against a background of grayish and mauve tones resolved with visible brushstrokes and slight chromatic variations. ㅤ The face presents a serene and introspective expression, while the reddish hair introduces a chromatic accent that contrasts with the warm flesh tones. The brushstroke is loose and materially perceptible, especially in the anatomy, the hair, and the fabrics. The seat, resolved with pinks and salmon tones, contributes to creating a composition dominated by a warm and delicate color palette. ㅤ The work is presented with a wide black-finished wooden frame, with a flat profile and marked surface texture. Its sober and contemporary character creates a strong contrast with the light pink tones of the painting, visually concentrating attention on the central figure. ㅤ Observations: The work may incur damage during transport even if properly packed. In such a case, we will require photographs of the damage to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. ㅤ Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by a surcharge due to reasons such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions, or weight of the item. PremiArt will not cover this surcharge under any circumstances. ㅤ The courier that must cross the Swiss border may experience much longer delays than usual, so, if possible to speed up processing, we will provide the customs number that is holding the shipment so the customer can unlock it and thus reach its destination. Experience has shown this to be the most effective solution for both parties. ㅤ Due to the high volume of shipments, it is possible that the order may be delayed more than three days, for which we apologize and thank you for your patience. Any questions about your order please contact us via internal messaging. ㅤ Measurements: 41 × 24 cm Measurements with frame: 63 × 46 cm
