Europhon - Adriano Rampoldi - Table lamp (2) - ABS - Radio Lamps

[RARE] Pair of Europhon Radio Lamps from the 70s - Design Adriano Rampoldi - PERFECTLY FUNCTIONAL - Space Age Description of the Item Splendid and rare pair of bedside lamps with integrated radios original from the 1970s, produced in Italy by the famous Europhon Milano and designed by the master of design Adriano Rampoldi. A true piece of Italian modernity history, an icon of Space Age style and Pop Art. These lamps are famous for their futuristic aesthetics and for the innovative use of molded plastic. They feature the iconic color combination of the era: technical orange ABS plastic base and a white/cream dome diffuser, joined by a refined central chrome band. Main Features: * Manufacturer: Europhon Milano * Designer: Adriano Rampoldi * Period: 1970s * Style: Space Age, Modernariato, Pop Art * Materials: ABS plastic, Acrylic, Chrome-plated metal * Color: Bright orange and White/Cream Conditions and Functionality (Strong Point!) Unlike many specimens found online, this pair is: PERFECTLY FUNCTIONAL IN EVERY PART! * Illumination: Both lamps turn on and emit a warm, atmospheric light. They have two buttons, where you can adjust the light intensity in two ways, dimmed or full light. Ps=Light bulbs not included * Radio: Both integrated radios are working (Medium Wave), which today are obsolete. The tuning and volume knobs respond perfectly. * Electrical System: Original with standard Italian plug, tested and safe. Aesthetic Condition: The items are used but in excellent vintage condition (as in the photos). They show normal and slight signs of wear that attest to their authenticity. The dome diffuser of one lamp shows a slightly lighter shade than the other, a common characteristic in these era materials and that does not harm the overall aesthetics. A unique opportunity for collectors and design lovers to bid on a complete and functioning pair of a cult 1970s object. Perfect as a bedside lamp on a nightstand or as an accent piece on a vintage sideboard.
