Exceptional Florescent rare Afghanite Mineral under UV...

Rare Fluorescent Afghanite Crystal Specimen – Badakhshan, Afghanistan An attractive natural Afghanite mineral specimen from the renowned Badakhshan mines of Afghanistan, weighing approximately 118 grams and measuring 68 × 50 × 31 mm. The specimen features two prominent blue Afghanite crystals naturally formed on a contrasting white and beige mineral matrix. The larger crystal is positioned on the upper part of the matrix, while the second Afghanite crystal is located towards the lower portion, creating an interesting and distinctive natural formation. Both crystals display a beautiful natural blue colour and an etched surface texture that adds character to the specimen. One of the most remarkable features of this specimen is its fluorescence under ultraviolet (UV) light, where the natural blue Afghanite exhibits a striking yellow fluorescence, creating an appealing contrast with the surrounding matrix. The crystals appear translucent, enhancing their visual appeal under light. Afghanite is a relatively rare mineral, and specimens displaying attractive blue crystals together with distinctive fluorescent properties are desirable additions to mineral collections. This specimen is offered in its natural condition, with no repairs, and its compact size makes it suitable for both personal collections and display. A distinctive Afghanite specimen combining two prominent crystals, natural blue colour, an attractive matrix, and fascinating UV fluorescence — an excellent collectible for mineral enthusiasts and collectors of fluorescent minerals.
