The shade is adjustable and the base allows swiveling. It preserves the distinctive glass diffuser and has two E27 lamp holders. The President model is associated with the Spanish designer Luis Pérez de la Oliva and the early years of FASE. The design was patented in 1963 by Luis Pérez de la Oliva and Pedro Martín García. A piece of great interest for collectors of Spanish design, vintage lighting, and 1960s–70s design. Its aesthetics align with the Modern Movement and the futuristic current known as Space Age.
