Excellent inking and good overall condition. There are slight foxings, some small losses and stains, as well as browning and visible signs of previous binding, as shown in the photographs. Cassone is known for being the author of Flora medico-farmacologica, a six-volume work published in Turin with the Giuseppe Cassone printing house between 1847 and 1852. The standard abbreviation Cassone is used to indicate this person as the author when citing a botanical name.
