Fine Late Georgian Mourning Pendant Miniature

ca. 1802, the obverse with a painted miniature of a funerary monument flanked by mourners and weeping willows, inscribed "R.P. / 1796 / M.P. / 1802", the reverse with two locks of hair on an engraved mother-of-pearl round within a plaited hair band, presented within a gold frame glazed on each side, the reverse inscribed "Rice Pricket Obt. 1st March 1796 Obt. 58" and Mary Pricket Obt. 19 May 1802 Oct. 64".
