Finest small trilobite - Fossilised animal - Dactylocephalus sp.

Species: Dactylocephalus sp. Age: Ordovician Locality: Zagora–Tata area, Morocco Measurements: c. 20 mm long (trilobite) – c. 9 x 7 cm (matrix) Weight: 218 g Dactylocephalus sp. is a rare trilobite from the Fezouata Formation. This is a smaller specimen although it is excellent. The trilobite has been prepared so that it appears raised against the matrix. A fantastic trilobite for demanding collectors, one in a series of six we were able to get from this already gone locality.
