Alla auktioner / Mattor & Textilier / Floral Art Nouveau fabric "Arts and Crafts" - 300x280 cm...
Exclusive 100% combed organic cotton fabric, Oeko-Tex Standard certified, very soft to the touch, of medium weight at 230 g per square meter. A quality without equal. The “Carded” finish gives this fabric a velvety softness to the touch. Proof to believe it! This cotton features an elegant and very refined botanical design, built like an intertwining of field flowers drawn with an almost illustrated quality. Deep navy blue/black background, crossed by a forest of thin vertical stems. Above, an explosion of meadow flowers: poppies, anemones, small wildflowers and ears of grain. All very dense, almost a wild garden seen at night with a warm lamp lit. - Color palette Base: very dark petrol blue leaning toward charcoal. Main flowers: cream, ivory, salmon, terracotta, warm orange. Cool accents: powder blue, sage green, grey-blue. Contrasts: touches of coral red and mustard yellow that keep the composition lively. It’s a calibrated palette: warm and cool tones balance each other, so the fabric remains rich but not kitschy. - Pattern and style Tightly repeated all-over motif in vertical direction. Stylized flowers with clear outlines and flat fills → illustrated look. Reminiscent of a mix between: mid-century Scandinavian aesthetics, modern botanical wallpaper art, The overall result is a poetic, airy, and very versatile fabric: perfect for drapery, cushions, dresses, or romantic-naturalist home accessories. A design that seems made for those who love vintage aesthetics with a modern, clean touch. Watch the photographic sequence to see all the details. The drapery remains enchanting with an extraordinary effect! Among the exhibitors of Liberty, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, among the most famous such as William Morris we can recall Alfons Mucha. Velde, Grasset, Lenoir, Monjoli, Cipriani, Sanglier, Klimt, Max le Verrier, Beeld, Luppens, Coco Chanel, Maurice Picaud. Tiffany The rare objects of these movements are precisely them and they created history... Limited edition in very few pieces! Limited edition!
