The project arises from the desire to offer a broad and diffused light source, capable of enveloping the space with a soft and uniform glow. Maap's structure consists of a luminous element equipped with multiple LED sources, supported by a cross-shaped support that acts as a magnetic anchor for the diffusing cover. The latter, manually moldable, suggests an organic and mutable surface, where each installation assumes a unique configuration. The fixing system using magnetic elements allows reshaping the diffuser's form, introducing a dimension of direct, personal interaction with the object. The lamp lends itself to different visual interpretations, evoking landscapes, maps, or enlarged cellular structures. The design approach of Maap favors lightness and formal freedom, inviting exploration of the relationship between light, matter and space. The installation suggests usage scenarios in which the wall becomes the protagonist, welcoming a light source that adapts to the context and the environment's needs. The presence of the wall lamp translates into an immersive visual effect, capable of accompanying both domestic spaces and public environments with a diffused and enveloping light.
