Hyalite is a clear, glassy variety of opal that forms crusts and botryoidal coatings in grape-like shapes. It appears as globular and botryoidal masses and irregular crusts in volcanic environments and pegmatites where silica deposits from the gaseous phase. It often shows strong green fluorescence under UV light. Hyalite belongs to the AN opal category, which is a silica glass containing about 3 to 8% water. These stones take shape during the formation of eruptive, effusive, and magmatic rocks. When the rocks are still very hot, hydrated silica enters the rock formations to form hardened, spherical and irregular outer layers as they cool. This gel formed solidifies very slowly over millions of years and during its cooling, other constituents can be introduced into its composition. Chemical composition: Hydrated magnesium silicate. VIRTUES AND PROPERTIES OF THE HYALITE STONE IN LITHOTHERAPY This opal is a stone that inspires romantic love. It is generally associated with wish or vow, charm, and lust. It brings a touch of originality and stimulates creativity. Many believe it can help bring the right partner closer, strengthen your attraction, and, better yet, advance a relationship by adding more charm and passion. PHYSICALLY These stones all have a high water content, hence their name “water stone.” It is therefore evident that Hyalite influences the water content of the human body. Indeed, it will simultaneously prevent water retention and poor hydration of the body. This is very advantageous for all functions of the limbs and organs of the body. In addition, it has a great influence on improving health and the enhancement of hair, skin, and even eyes.
