This appealing $10 Gold Certificate issued under the Series of 1928 has rightly earned its assigned grade and wears the proverbial trappings exceedingly well. Here the yellow-gold Treasury overprint beckons bright and offers a fine contrast against the engraved balance including the portrait of Alexander Hamilton and the period view of the Treasury Building in Washington that somehow lingered through the 1990s with the $10 Federal Reserve Notes issued under the Series of 1995. Held together and it takes little more to reason that this already impressive note stands among the exception when it comes to those that avoided redemption under Executive Order 6102.
