This Friedberg Number is defined by the New York issuing district and features the Elliott - Burke - Hendricks - Strong that was current around 1920. The all-important back design depicts the USS New York (BB-34) which was built at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and served with distinction during both the Great War and Second World War before falling victim to atomic testing in the late 1940s. In all, this example is an utterly original and boasts wide margins, bright paper, and breathtaking color that will undoubtedly be appreciated.
