Fr. Rupp

Fr. Rupp

Historical silver soup ladle / bowl ladle from the 19th century, crafted in the Historicism period around 1860 by the Royal Bavarian Court Supplier and silversmith Friedrich Rupp from Ansbach. This piece is designed in the classical "Augsburger Faden" pattern. The large ladle (ship-shaped bowl) features an original inner gilding (fine gold / vermeil) that protects the metal from oxidation. Manufacturer & Markings: • Silversmith / Jeweler: Fr. Rupp, Ansbach (Royal Bavarian Court Supplier). The maker's mark "FR. RUPP ANSBACH" is clearly stamped on the handle. • Silver content: On the reverse with the fineness stamp "800" for sterling silver, as well as the accompanying master and city marks. Dimensions & Details: • Overall length: approx. 32 cm • Diameter of the ladle: approx. 8.8 cm • Weight: 202 g. Condition: • Good antique condition. The piece shows visible signs of aging and normal use, including noticeable dents and slight warping of the silver bowl (ladle) from historical use, as seen in the photos. The interior gilding is robustly preserved. No deep scratches or signs of modern repairs. Shipping: • Shipping is securely packaged, registered and Track & Trace insured.
