FRAGMENT DE KISWAH DESTINÉ À LA SAINTE KA‘BA, ARABIE SAOUDITE, XXe SIÈCLE De forme rectangulaire, ce fragment de Kiswah est brodé de fils métalliques dorés et argentés sur un fond de soie noire. Le panneau présente au centre un cartouche portant une inscription en élégante écriture thuluth, entouré de motifs d’arabesques et de rinceaux végétaux finement exécutés. INSCRIPTIONS : « En vérité, Nous t’avons accordé une victoire éclatante. » Coran, sourate Al-Fath (48:1). DIMENSIONS : 71 × 93 cm
