Atlas in four parts, with a fictitious cover, containing 31 copper-engraved maps: 30 individual maps on double pages and one folding general map, as well as the division title Les Costes de la Mer Méditerranée, dated 1690, and the two tables of the admiralties and of the coast-guard stations. Missing the general title, the wind rose plate and the descriptive text. Continuation of the coastal charts complete, from Dunkirk to the Spanish border and from Languedoc to Nice. Maps adorned with ships, galleys, marine animals and wind roses. Margins generally preserved; creases, foxing, stains, dark spots on two maps, small tears and marginal faults; damp staining especially pronounced on the latest plates.
