The work is part of the Matrilineal collection, in which the maternal line, highlighted on the Earth's surface, represents the invisible thread that unites generations, cultures and hopes. The globe is not just a decorative element, but is made with eco-friendly ceramic plaster and recycled rice husk, innovative materials free of Portland cement. The art, in this case, is also an ethical choice: what one believes in equals what one creates. This sculpture is entirely handmade in the artists’ studio in Pietrasanta – Italian capital of sculpture – with no 3D printing. Each piece is unique, numbered and attended to in every detail.
