The sculpture We Should All Be Feminists presented in this lot is the declaration of the artists’ research. The carved face, with elegant and modern features, blends harmoniously with a hairstyle that evokes the greatness of classical eras. Between the hair, a stylized vulva reveals itself as a symbolic diadem, highlighting the generative and spiritual strength of the feminine. A distinctive element of their poetics, which fuses aesthetics and message with refined audacity. A Title that is a Manifesto We Should All Be Feminists is an invitation, a statement, a warning. In a context still permeated by patriarchal archetypes, the work becomes a tool for reflection on the strength, courage and complexity of female identity. The sculpture thus becomes a symbol of a new matriarchy: evolved, conscious, powerful. Woman, life, freedom. Franconi Mastromarino’s Venuses are rebellious poets, poets of sin!
