The sculpture We Should All Be Feminists presented in this lot is the statement of Francioni Mastromarino’s artistic research. The carved face, with elegant and modern features, blends harmoniously with a hairstyle that evokes the greatness of classical eras. Between the hair, a stylized vulva appears as a symbolic diadem, highlighting the generative and spiritual power of the feminine. A distinctive element of their poetics, which merges aesthetics and message with refined audacity. A Title that is a manifesto We Should All Be Feminists is an invitation, an assertion, a warning. In a context still shaped by patriarchal archetypes, the work becomes a tool for reflection on the strength, courage, and complexity of feminine identity. The sculpture thus becomes a symbol of a new matriarchy: evolved, conscious, powerful. Woman, life, freedom. Francioni Mastromarino’s Venuses are rebellious poets, poets of sin!
