Francis Higgins II, Three Figural Handled Utensils London, date letters for 1865, three neoclassical finely detailed figural and gold wash handled utensils, comprising: a fork with a putto eating grapes having grape vine form tines, a spoon with a putto standing on a pedestal among grape vines, and a knife with an allegorical woman holding grapes and a vine. Dimensions: the approximate weight of this lot is 6.40 ozt, the lengths range from 7 1/4 to 8in Provenance: From a Philadelphia collection. Condition Good condition, some expected surface wear.
