icknamed The Tiger of Cremona, Mina is regarded as one of the greatest interpreters in the history of Italian music. She is renowned for her vocal qualities and for having been a leading figure in the 1960s and 1970s in numerous television programs broadcast by Rai. Her vocality is characterized by great breadth and extension, able to combine vocal power with flexibility, and it is supported by a very solid technique; Mina also stands out for her interpretative gifts and eclecticism, which have led her to successfully tackle musical genres often far apart. With over 150 million albums sold, she is the Italian musician with the most records sold worldwide. During her career, which began in the late fifties and continues to this day, Mina has interpreted more than 500 songs, achieving milestones and receiving awards and recognitions, with two appearances at the Festival di Sanremo.
