Franz Edmund Weirotter was an Austrian painter, draftsman and engraver. Weirotter was born in Innsbruck and mainly painted landscapes and seascapes. He traveled to Paris and Rome where he produced numerous paintings and engravings. Some of his works are housed in the San Francisco Museum of Fine Arts.
