FRENCH LUCHON ETABLISSEMENT THERMAL ADVERTISING LITH.

A late 19th C. large-format French color lithographic advertising poster for the Établissement Thermal de Bagnères-de-Luchon, printed by Tolmer & Cie, Paris (plate no. 608C). The upper half features a panoramic bird's-eye view of the thermal spa resort and its grounds, flanked by Pyrenean figures in period dress and two circular vignettes captioned 'Buvette du Pré' and 'Kiosque de Bellevue,' surmounted by the town's heraldic crest and the bold lettering 'LUCHON.' The lower half carries text advertising the thermal season (1 June to 1 October), casino, nightly theatrical performances under conductor M. Ed. Broustet, horse and bull races, and evening fêtes.
