Designed in the naturalistic Weinrebe / Weinlaub tradition, the bowl is sculpted in the form of layered grape leaves and flowing vine tendrils — a classic symbol of hospitality, abundance and craftsmanship from the height of the Jugendstil movement. This dish is heavy quality solid brass castingThe surface shows finely modelled leaf veining and deliberately pierced negative spaces, enhancing the play of light and shadow — typical of high-quality German decorative metalwork from this period.
