Gabbeh - Rug - 240 cm - 170 cm

Hand-knotted rug from the Fars region in Iran, made of wool. The construction base is the same across all of them: Ghiordes knot, warp and weft, and wool pile; in other words, a 100% wool rug with a very high knot density, around 250,000 knots per square meter. The finest wool from the animal is used, especially from the neck and belly of the sheep (Kork wool). Imported from Iran between 2010 and 2015.
