Alla auktioner / Mattor & Textilier / GCFabrics – Cotton Upholstery Fabric with Acanthus...
The drawing presents a harmonious and highly decorative composition: broad, jagged leaves interlace with softly profiled flowers, creating a continuous and natural movement. The pattern is rich yet balanced, perfect for those who want a substantial fabric without giving up sobriety and refinement. The design style draws on Arts & Crafts taste, ornamental botanical, and the classic English garden style, with references to floral decorations inspired by nature, acanthus motifs, and heritage interior styles with timeless charm. The result is an elegant, luminous fabric that's easy to integrate both in traditional settings and in contemporary environments with a natural and refined taste. The color palette is particularly refined: the ivory background brings light, sage green makes the design delicate and soothing, while powder-blue flowers with small blush-pink details add depth and character. It is an ideal fabric for elegant living rooms, bedrooms, charming houses, boutique hotels, professional studios, or interior design projects inspired by nature. The cotton quality, dense weave, and precise print make it suitable for numerous uses in furniture and interiors: armchairs, seating, benches, poufs, bed headboards, decorative cushions, textile panels, curtains, and creative coverings. As shown in the photographs, on a seating piece the fabric immediately creates an elegant, fresh, and highly decorative effect. Care and Cleaning: To maintain the beauty and quality of your premium fabric over time, follow these simple care instructions: Washing: It is recommended to wash the fabric by hand or in a machine wash on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C. Use a mild detergent free of aggressive bleaches to preserve vibrant colors. Drying: Avoid a dryer to protect the fiber. Hang the fabric to dry in the open air, avoiding prolonged direct sunlight, which could fade colors. Ironing: Iron the fabric at a low temperature, preferably with a cotton cloth over it to prevent direct contact with the iron and keep the surface flawless. Professional cleaning: If used for furniture upholstery or large surfaces, dry cleaning is recommended for safer and longer-lasting maintenance. Following these simple guidelines, your fabric will retain its splendor and integrity over time, continuing to enhance your spaces with class and refinement.
