General George S. Patton Signed Book - Grad

Exceptionally rare signed copy of Third Army - A Brief History of Operations, signed by General George S. Patton. Published by Third Army Headquarters in 1945 as the official history of the U.S. Third Army's combat operations in the European Theater, the volume chronicles the army's rapid advance across France, the Lorraine Campaign, the relief of Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge, the crossing of the Rhine, and the final drive into Germany. Richly illustrated with maps, photographs, and operational summaries, it stands as one of the definitive contemporary histories of Patton's legendary command. Published just months before Patton's death in December 1945, authentic signed examples are exceptionally scarce, with only a handful known to have appeared at public sale, making it among the most desirable Patton-signed books obtainable. Accompanied by a Steve Grad Authentication Letter of Verification, Certificate No. GA-05313. Estimate $6,000 - $10,000
